London, Apr.5 (ANI): Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on his side’s perspective and believes that the Emirates Stadium club still hold a real chance to challenge this year’s Premier League title.
Wenger’s comments came in the wake of his side’s two back-to-back wins in the Premier League, having won against Everton 2-0 before recently cruising to a 4-0 win against Watford to keep their title hopes alive.
Describing Arsenal as a `top quality` team, the Frenchman said that his side had come through their difficult periods and were able to achieve the result even in their most dreadful situations.
“This team has a good mentality. I’ve had many teams in my life and this team is top quality. They have gone through a bad period but, when you play like that (against Watford), that shows that mentally they are pure,” the 66-year-old was quoted as saying by goal.com.
Wenger said that Arsenal had always managed to do right things at the right moment, insisting his side’s only target is to clinch the title.
Arsenal are currently third in the standings and are lagging 11 points behind surprise leaders Leicester City.
They will aim to continue their momentum when they take on West Ham in next league clash on Saturday. (ANI)
