London, Dec. 17 (ANI): Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that forward Alexis Sanchez, who was out of action due to injury, is likely to be included in the team for the next Premier League clash against Manchester United.
The 26-year-old star striker suffered a hamstring injury during his side’s 1-1 draw against Norwich City last month.
Wenger said that there was a ‘slight chance’ that Alexis would play in the next match, but added that it was too early to be sure about the same, the Guardian reported.
The French football manager revealed that the forward was keen to play for the team, pointing that he was involved in the partial training.
Expressing his views on Arsenal’s Champions League draw with Barcelona, Wenger admitted that they would play against the best team in Europe, and said that they are now matured enough to beat the Spanish giants.
Arsenal will next take on United on December 22. (ANI)
