Mumbai, September 28 (CINEWS): In spite of the fact that performing artist Mallika Sherawat tried out for the part of Aamir Khan’s wife in “Dangal”, she didn’t get the part apparently to be excessively youthful, making it impossible to depict the part of a mother of four young ladies.
Mallika expressed that in spite of the fact that her tryout was adored by the motion picture’s producers, Aamir rejected her as he felt she won’t look mature enough to assume the part. “I had tried out for the part of Aamir’s wife in Dangal. Aamir and the film unit cherished my tryouts however as my part would be of a mother of four adult young ladies, Aamir felt that paying little heed to whatever should be possible, I won’t look mature enough to play a mother to four high school girls. That is the main motivation behind why I didn’t get cast in the film,”Koimoi cited Mallika as saying.
The part of Aamir’s wife in “Dangal” will be played by Sakshi Tanwar, surely understood for her TV serial “Kahani Ghar-Ghar Ki”.
