Mumbai, April, 13 (CINEWS): The Bombay High Court on Monday declined to keep with it of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Fan. The applicant, guaranteeing to be a scriptwriter, affirmed that the plot of Fan was his, which he had thought for his film Abhineta (performing artist).

Mahesh Daijode, the applicant, asserted that he has not been given kudos for the script, which he had submitted in Aditya Chopra’s office. Be that as it may, Yash Raj Movies doesn’t think so.

`We have a convention. When we get a script, we give a receipt to the individual. Thus, if the applicant does not have a receipt, he has not presented the script to us,” said advocate Abhay Itali, who spoke to Yash Raj Movies.

At the point when Equity GS Patel enquired about the receipt, Manohar Shetty and Nasir Ali, the candidate’s legal counselors, said that neither does Daijode have a receipt nor does he recall when he had presented the script.

Daijode further requested that the film ought to be stayed till the time he is adjusted. Notwithstanding, the court said that such applications documented exactly when the film is going to discharge can’t be entertained.

The court has kept June 8 as the date for next hearing. Fan is expected for discharge on April 15.
