Mumbai, November 14 (CINEWS): The 21st version of the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) slated to commence on Sunday is liable to be gone to by south India’s genius Rajnikant other than Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Sharmila Tagore.
As per an official talks were on with Rajnikant, who may arrive tomorrow in the city to go to the inaugural function if everything goes likewise. The Big B, Jaya Bachchan, and Sharmila Tagore had before been reported as the visitors for the inaugural function.
With upwards of 149 movies of 137 chiefs from 61 nations booked to be screened in the nine-day-long spectacle, the state government has chosen to pay a unique tribute to executive Bappaditya Bandopadhyay who passed away as of late. “KIFF will screen Bappaditya’s film Houseful at Nandan 3 on November 17,” KIFF executive Yadav Mandal said.
