PV Sindhu…Wins country’s first-ever silver medal for badminton.

As the Indian badminton player  P.V. Sindhu clinched the silver medal in the women’s singles competition of the Rio Olympics, Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor lauded the 21-year-old’s historic feat.

Judging by the recent interest of biopics, will there be one on this sports woman who has earned a special place in Indian history?

They called her the “golden girl” as she has made “all Indians very proud”.
