Bhubaneswar, March 1 (IANS) A woman on Tuesday filed a harassment complaint against an Odisha MLA who she claimed was her father-in-law but the Independent legislator dismissed the accusation as “baseless”.

In her complaint at the mahila police station here, Kabita Mahakud said she was subjected to physical and mental torture by MLA Sanatan Mahakud.

Mahakud represents Champua seat in the iron ore belt of Keonjhar district, and is the richest legislator with declared assets of Rs.69.63 crore. He runs a mineral transport company.
