Woman seriously injured in Mississauga road crash

Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau of the Peel Regional Police are seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation into a motor vehicle collision that occurred in Mississauga on Sunday.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., a serious motor vehicle collision involving a Grey 2010 Mazda 3, Silver 2006 Toyota Corolla and a Silver 2005 Honda Odyssey occurred at the intersection of Heatherleigh Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West in Mississauga, police said.

As a result of the collision, a 74 year-old female passenger from Mississauga was rushed to a Toronto Trauma Centre and is in serious life-threatening condition. Three other passengers suffered minor injuries.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, have video footage of the incident or who may have information about the actions of the drivers prior to the collision.
