Mumbai, September 15 (CINEWS): Subhash Sehgal, who is coming back to bearing after more than 15 years with “Yaara Silly” – a title roused from Lata Mangeshkar’s tune “Yaara sili,” says the film depicts a full grown affection story including a whore.
“This is a relationship-based film. To whole it up in one line, I would say it is an affection story conceived in bed. By bed, what I mean is that the focal character is a whore, being played by Paoli Dam.
“The class that it depicts is that of an adult relationship,” Sehgal, who last coordinated “Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin,” told IANS.
The title of his new film is taken from the melody in “Lekin,” helmed by Gulzar, with whom Sehgal has had a long relationship with.
Sehgal expressed that at first they were miserable with the working title of the film. He felt an appealing title was key for viewers to be attracted to his film and the motivation originated from “Lekin…” which he had altered.
“I have a propensity for listening to music before dozing and I risked upon this tune ‘Yaara sili’ from ‘Lekin…’. That is the point at which it struck me that this could be an extraordinary title.
“And afterward we supplanted ‘Sili’ with the English ‘Senseless Silly’. I’ve gotten a gigantic reaction for my decision of title,” he said.
Sehgal cases that few top on-screen characters cherished the script of his new film when he drew closer them, yet they couldn’t do it because of the absence of accessibility of dates. He would have needed to sit tight for a few years to get their dates. That is the point at which he chose to start instantly.
“In the interim, I happened to see Paoli Dam’s ‘Scorn Story’, and I recognized the character in Paoli, who might have the capacity to legitimize this part. I drew nearer her with the script. She cherished it and said that she would love to do the film. In this way, she was marked,” said Sehgal.
In the film, Paoli is combined with Parambrata Chatterjee.
Together delivered by Reena Bhushan Suri and Neena Subhash Sehgal under the flag Movie Dreams, the film is slated to discharge on October 30.
