Yahoo updates its mobile search engine

Washington, June 26 (ANI): Yahoo has released an update of its mobile search engine.

According to thenextweb.com, the new update will now place images, videos and reviews in the focus.

Andrew Poon, Yahoo’s vice president of product management, said in a blog post that they know when users are on the move, they are often searching for a specific piece of information. So rather than delivering endless links for users to sift through on a small screen, they will beautifully assemble the most relevant information in a way that allows them to take action right away.

The new update is announced for mobile browsers like Safari and Chrome. For user to use it on smartphone, they have to open their browser, type in search.yahoo.com and then put in a query. (ANI)
