Salman Khan’s Sultan is one of the biggest hits this year. The film earned Rs 300 crore and was highly acclaimed.
The actor earned praise for his superb portrayal of the character a wrestler but there was a missing link between his hard work and the success of the film: modern technology.
Yash Raj Films recently released the VFX breakdown of Sultan on social media. The video reveals a lot and makes you believe that technology is an important part of filmmaking.
The visual effects used in the movie can be seen easily in the video. One can see how they have added value to the film. In one sequence, Salman can be seen jumping against a green background. But in the movie, the viewer sees Salman jumping from a building to another one in Old Delhi.
In another interesting scene, Salman is seen dancing to the popular number 440 volt. But in the movie, one sees firecrackers emanating from his hands.
Visual effects have made the life of filmmakers and actors easy but there is an extra cost involved.
Sultan has also completed 50 days at the box office and is still running across the country. The current figures clearly show the immense success of the film. The overall domestic profits to date are over Rs 300 cr. – CINEWS
