Zuckerberg responsible for connecting world: PM Modi

Menlo Park (California), Sept. 27 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi today lauded Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for connecting the world and said that the latter’s experience would inspire lots of people

“I am happy that I am connecting with you (Mark Zuckerberg) today, the person responsible for everyone over the world connecting,” Prime Minister Modi said during a question answer session at the Facebook Headquarters here along with Zuckerberg.

“I hope your experience inspires a lot of other people,” he added.

The Prime Minister recalled Zuckerberg’s last visit to India during which he had visited a temple.

“When you came to India, you went to a temple. And look where you have reached,” he said.

Zuckerberg on his part recalled his last conversation with Prime Minister Modi and said that he was looking forward to hear from him about his views on the future of India and the world.

“I met my mentor Steve Jobs few years back, he told me that in order to reconnect to what I believed as the mission of the company, then I should visit this temple that he had gone to in India early on in his evolution of what he wanted Apple to be,” he added. (ANI)
