All-women Sarvann team meets in Toronto

Recently, a press conference was held in Toronto for Punjabi film Sarvann attended by all-women production team Deepshikha Bhagnani, Priyanka Chopra, her mother Dr. Madhu Chopra, Simi Chehail and Punjabi superstar Amrinder Gill.

The team, according to Toronto reports, also visited a famous Gurdwar close to the city.

Sarvann has been described as a  heart-touching narrative of a young NRI returning to India to find his roots and a coming-of-age story of a young boy who unknowingly discovers his identity.

Vashu Bhagnani has financed movies like Coolie No. 1 , Hero No. 1, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, Om Jai Jagadish, Shaadi No. 1 and F.A.L.T.U.

The list will display that he has produced some experimental and entertaining Indian films.

Sarvaan  is being taken to International markets as well and with the presence of a large number of Punjabis spread all over Canada the film should do well in North America.

“Pooja entertainment has always believed in setting the bar higher with every film that we make. My father Vashu Bhagnani ji has been an innovator with marketing ideas that create an instant connect with the audiences.” says Deepshika Bhagnani, Producer of the film

This is the first time a regional film has been promoted in international markets at such a huge level.

The first look of Pooja films and Priyanka Chopra’s debut Punjabi venture Sarvann created quite an impact and had a brilliant response from the industry and from the audiences.

The film is directed by Karan Guiliani. The stars include  Amrinder Gill and Ranjit Bawa who is making his acting debut with Sarvann and Simi Chehail of Bambookat fame.
