Amazon Prime Video announced today, May 30, 2022 they are partnering with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) for a multi-film licensing collaboration which will be worldwide exclusive.
With this collaboration, one of India’s biggest production houses and one of India’s giant streamers come together to bring some of the biggest and best entertainment from the heart of Bollywood to the 240+ countries and territories that Amazon Prime Video streams in.
As part of their collaboration, Prime Video will have exclusive streaming rights to NGE’s newly released movies, soon after they screen in theatres. NGE’s upcoming slate boasts of some impressive titles like, ‘Sanki’, ‘Bawaal’, ‘Baaghi 4’ as well as an untitled project headlined by Karthik Aryan.
Sajid Nadiadwala is known for some larger-than-life cinema and his brand of entertainment will now exclusively be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
As per the deal, the movie will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video post their theatrical release. Also, some movie will right after their release, be available “to rent” on Prime Video for all Amazon customers across all their territories. This “to rent” option is a new offering from Amazon – it is their “Early Access Rental” window.
