Armed carjackings rattle Mississauga

In a 12-hour span, three carjackings have left behind some dazed drivers and one who was injured.

In one that occurred at 5 am, the attempted carjacking happened on Southdown Road near the QEW, the car involved was an Alfa Romeo.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital, according to Peel Region Paramedics.

Meanwhile, Peel officers continue to hunt two suspects following two armed carjackings that occurred about 90 minutes apart near Square One on Sunday night.

Police believe that those two incidents are related but added the most recent one is believed to be unrelated.
