The South Simcoe Police have arrested a Brampton man in connection to a sexual assault investigation from this past October.

South Simcoe Police say on Monday, October 14, a female employee working at a store at the Tanger Outlets contacted police to report a sexual assault by a customer at the mall.

The victim did not report any physical injuries.

Simcoe Police say they then identified a suspect as a result of the investigation.

On February 22, 2020, a man was placed under arrest.

As a result, 23-year-old Chanpreet Singh Padda of Brampton was charged with one count of sexual assault.

He was released with multiple conditions and a future scheduled court date. -CINEWS
