Actor Dhanush is all set to make his Hollywood debut with the Russo brothers’ movie, ‘The Gray Man’ which will release soon on Netflix. Ahead of the movie’s premiere, there was a special screening held for this all-star cast movie and the cast also had a post-screening press conference in Los Angeles.
‘The Gray Man’, for the unversed, stars Ryan Gosling in the lead with Chris Evans playing the antagonist. The movie also stars Ana de Armas as well as Dhanush, who plays a small but significant role in the movie. Fans in India, especially those down south have not been able to keep calm ever since the first look of Dhanush in ‘The Gray Man’ was released.
The Russo brothers too confessed that they wrote Dhanush’s part specifically keeping him in mind and they loved his screen presence. They further said in a previous interaction that based on the popularity of this movie, there might be other spin-offs planned and they would even look into creating a spin-off which features Dhanush in the lead.
For now, in ‘The Gray Man’, Dhanush essays the role of a highly skilled assassin and he reportedly had very few dialogues.
During the press conference, Dhanush was asked about being part of this feature and to share how he landed this opportunity.
Dhanush candidly said, “I don’t know how I ended up in this film.” His response cracked up everyone in the audience and all his co-stars on stage including Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling.
