Benedict Cumberbatch’s second solo superhero movie in the Marvel franchise has been hot news for months now.

Every other week there are new speculations and rumours about possible sightings of Marvel and X-men’ characters in this larger-than-life movie that will be exclusively dealing with the multiverse.

Now, the movie finds itself again in the news as it was revealed that it won’t be aired at the ‘Comic-Con’ as it has major surprises.

This news was confirmed by movie insider John Campea who said he received an email regarding ‘Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness’ and its no-show at the Comic-Con festival this year.

He said, “Yesterday, I got an email. What I was basically told was this. I cannot say who this is from. But it said, ‘Yeah, they’re not going to be screening Doctor Strange 2 during CinemaCon.’ Sorry to tell everybody that, it’s guaranteed that they are not going to show Doctor Strange 2 during CinemaCon.”

Speaking more about the movie, Campea was insistent that ‘Doctor Strange 2’ will have even more surprises than ‘Avengers: Endgame’.

He added that in the email received, it said, “There’s more security [for this movie] blah blah blah.’ But the key line was this: ‘There are more big surprises in Doctor Strange 2 than in Infinity War, Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home combined.”

Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness picks up from where ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ ends. Benedict Cumberbatch reprises his role as Doctor Stephen Strange who will be seen raging through the multiverse in an attempt to stop the chaos caused by the multi-dimensional creatures. In the movie, Elizabeth Olsen will be seen reprising her MCU character Wanda Maximoff, Benedict Wong will be back as Wong, Patrick Stewart will play the beloved ‘Professor X’ from ‘X-Men’ franchise and there are many rumours and speculations about other inclusions from Marvel and X-men franchises, none of which have been confirmed.

‘Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness’ will be releasing in cinemas worldwide on May 6, 2022.
