“Drive Thru Ribfest” at Mississauga’s Erin Mills Town Centre on October 17 and 18

Lucie Shaw, this year’s Event Chair, announced the 17th annual Mississauga Rotary Ribfest will be hosted in a new Drive Thru format that protects the health and safety of all the families in the community. Strong measures are being taken to ensure the safety of both guests and volunteers, organizers said.

“Though we will miss the diverse display of food and live entertainment, we are excited that 4 of your favourite ribbers are participating to bring you finger licking ribs, chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and sausages. In addition, we will have the ever so yummy Ontario Corn Roasters and Tiny Tom’s donuts available. The first 50 cars on each day will also have an opportunity to Spin & Win for a chance at over $1000 in Erin Mills Town Centre gift card prizes,” Shaw added.

Organizers acknowledged the support of the title sponsor Amacon as well as contributing sponsors Access Storage, Erinwood Ford and Erin Mills Town Centre to this year’s 2020 Drive Thru Ribfest.

There will be an official opening of the event at 10:30 am Saturday October 17 in front of Camp 31 BBQ with participation from City Officials, Sponsors and Hospital Staff.

Proceeds from this event will go to support the Trillium Health Partners Foundation.

Ribfest will also be donating 200 meals to the brave Front Line workers at the hospitals. In addition, all First Responders and THP staff will be eligible for a 10% discount.
