New Delhi, Jan 29 (IANS) Ensemble Quinetique, a band from Netherlands, Tetseo Sisters, Israeli musician BEMET, Canadian music group Delhi 2 Dublin, Dhruv Visvanath and Barmer Boys will performi at a multi-cultural and multi-faceted music event called Ragasthan in Jaisalmer.
Ragasthan is a three-day desert camping festival where music, art, cinema, adventure and culture come together. After debuting in 2012, Ragasthan had its second edition in 2014 and the third will happen this year from February 23 to 25, read a statement from the organisers.
The festival has three music stages — Morio (meaning peacock in the local language) which will showcase rock, pop, hip-hop and world music; Birakha (‘rain’) which will give closer access to performers showcasing indie, singer-song writers, and experimental artists through the afternoon into sunset; and Ammara (‘shining star’) with DJs and live acts.
Camp life is part of Ragasthan with late night bonfires and open-air movie screenings.
