Man held for cellphone video-recording in women’s washroom; voyeurism charge

A Toronto man has been arrested in connection with a Voyeurism investigation.

On Thursday, May 26, 2016, at 11:35 p.m., police received a call for Voyeurism in the Dundas Street West and Augusta Avenue area.

It is alleged that:   – a woman was changing in a staff washroom at her place of work, when she she observed a cell phone in a backpack on a hook.

The cell phone was recording her as she was getting changed  and  upon closer examination of the cell phone, the woman discovered that there was another video which had been recorded from a previous date, May 19, 2016, in the same washroom.

The woman then contacted police .

On Friday, May 27, 2016, Luis Castillo Guillen, 29, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with two counts of Voyeurism.

Police are concerned there may be other victims.
