Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB) is an ace filmmaker who never misses the mark when it comes to delivering blockbusters. His recent release ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ was a critical as well as commercial success and it further catapulted Alia’s stardom.
After the success of ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ it is reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all focused on his next project, the first of its kind for him as it is his debut in the OTT space. He is working on a feature which is direct to digital titled, ‘Heeramandi’.
While there are many reports, speculations and rumours about the cast and the plot, nothing official has been confirmed by the filmmaker or his team as yet.
In the midst of this, Bollywood actor Manisha Koirala shared a lovely picture of herself posing with SLB and yesteryear veteran actor Mumtaz. She captioned her post, In the company of legends…I love love love being with such marvellous creative people…my face says it all #blessed #genius #sanjayleelabhansali #mumtaz”.
Here is the photo:
In the picture Manisha is striking a pose with Mumtaz and SLB and the trio is all smiles. While Manisha looks comfortably chic in a red shirt and black pants, Mumtaz looks timeless in all white.
The moment Manisha Koirala shared the picture on her Instagram many friends and fans of the actress showered a lot of love for her post.
One fan posted the most appropriate comment which said it all. It read, “Most awaited one. It’s remembering the Khamoshi and super excited for Heeramandi”.
There were speculations that Bhansali is looking for a whole gamut of female actors for this movie and this picture adds fuel to the rumours which stated that Mumtaz might be coming back to the big screen after four and a half decades. Seeing the three of them together is going to lead fans to believe that Manisha Koirala too could be reuniting with her ‘Khamoshi’ director. So far, the rumours state that actors, Aditi Rao Hydari Manisha Koirala, Huma Qureshi, Richa Chaddha and Sonakshi Sinha have been roped in for ‘Heeramandi’ but there is no official confirmation on this yet.
