Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner reunite 18 years after ’13 Going On 30’


The hit rom-com ’13 Going On 30’ danced into our hearts in 2004. The chemistry and romance of the lead pair, Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo makes this movie a must-watch for fans of the romantic comedy genre.

And now, after 18 years the two actors are coming together again for Netflix’s film ‘The Adam Project’. It’s a sci-fi drama that also features Ryan Reynolds.

In ‘The Adam Project’ which is releasing on Netflix on March 11, Mark and Jennifer play a married couple called Louis and Ellie. They are parents to a son named Adam. The younger version of Adam will be played by a newcomer child artist Walker Scobell and the adult version of Adam will be played by ‘Deadpool’ star Ryan Reynolds.

Garner was over the moon about this collaboration and said that it felt like a continuation. Mark commented that it was crazy that it has already been 18 years since ‘13 Going on 30’.

Their chemistry and comfort with each other is evident and both actors said that they felt very comfortable and happy working with each other. They promised their fans that next time they won’t wait 18 years to work together again.

In an interview, Mark said now that they have come together for this movie, it might be a good idea to come up with a sequel for ’13 Going on 30’ and Jennifer laughingly added that they could call it ’50 going on 80’ and Mark jokingly added, that 10 years after that they could do another one and name it ’65 going on 90’.

Mark Ruffalo is also a beloved member of the MCU franchise having played the role of Dr. Bruce Banner, aka ‘Hulk’ in 9 MCU movies so far.
