Mentorship program launched for Sikhs in Ontario

TORONTO

The WSO (World Sikh Organization) recently concluded a very successful launch in British Columbia and are now expanding the popular Sikh Mentorship Program (SMP) to Ontario residents.
Prospective Ontario based mentors and mentees are encouraged to apply for the mentor-mentee matching initiative at worldsikh.org/smp before the March 4, 2019, deadline.
The SMP is designed to connect Sikh professionals with Sikh students (16+) who are seeking guidance and direction academically or professionally.
Alongside mentor-mentee matching, the SMP will also include workshops, panels, and networking events.
Many mentors are already registered with the SMP and hail from diverse industry backgrounds, ranging from large financial institution executives to local health care providers.
This is a wonderful way to connect young Sikh youth with positive role models from the community and be inspired.
