Driving instructor from Milton charged with sexual assault, police say there may be more victims

Peel police’s Special Victims Unit has charged a 45-year-old Milton driving instructor with sexual assault. Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are requesting them to contact police.

Imran Malik was arrested on Monday after a 19-year-old female alleged that she was sexually assaulted by him during a driving lesson.

Thankfully the victim did not sustain any physical injuries.

Malik will attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date.

Police said Malik is not a current driving school employee. A driving school in Brampton had previously employed him; however, he had been terminated by the driving school prior to the offence date.

Anyone that believes they may have been a victim, or anyone with information on this or any similar incident, is asked to contact investigators at the Special Victims Unit at 905-453-2121, extension 3460. Anonymous information may also be submitted by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visiting www.peelcrimestoppers.ca.
