Residents of Mississauga and beyond are invited to celebrate Canada’s 152nd birthday at Celebration Square with approximately 100,000 other people.

At the Canada Day Celebration this year, plenty of entertainment has been lined up. Platinum-selling, award-winning recording artists Marianas Trench will be headlining the mega event on the main stage.

There will also be scintillating performances by Logan Staats, Leaving Thomas and Sickick.

Of course, no celebration would be complete without Mississauga’s Mayor Bonnie Crombie and members of council leading a reaffirmation oath encouraging attendees to re-confirm their Canadian Citizenship during the event.

The day’s festivities will be capped off by fireworks at 10:05 p.m.

Afternoon hosts, Global News’ Anthony Farnell and Farah Nasser and evening hosts, Antony Robart and ET Canada’s Sangita Patel will guide attendees through the event.
