June is Seniors Month in Ontario and this year’s theme is Stay Safe, Active and Connected. Mississauga is celebrating by dedicating the entire month to the older adult community by offering free, informative webinars on weekdays to residents ages 55 and up. The webinars are a blend of both live and pre-recorded sessions.

Schedule

  • Mondays: Retirement residences
  • Tuesdays at 11 am: Live coffee talks
  • Wednesdays: Education centres and information
  • Thursdays at 11 am: Live hot topics

Interested participants can access activities online at mississauga.ca/expo.

This year’s online expo provides older adults with the opportunity to connect with others in their community and learn about available programs and services to help them live safe, healthy and active lives.
