More vaccine clinic options for Peel residents

Peel residents now have more options to support them in getting their COVID-19 vaccine as several Vaxx Pop-ups are opening throughout the region in the coming days.

In addition to offering appointments, they will also offer the option to walk in without an appointment spokesperson Trish Krale said in a statement issued on Thursday.

These clinics are open to anyone over the age of 18 who lives in Peel. Each is hosted at a convenient school location.

Clinic details:

  • Castlebrooke Secondary School, 10 Gardenbrooke Trail, Brampton ON L6P 3L1 – May 14 to 16, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Fletcher’s Meadow Secondary School, 10750 Chinguacousy Rd., Brampton ON L7A 2Z7 – May 17 and 18, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Additional clinic locations will be added in the coming days.

Please check twitter.com/regionofpeel the morning of the clinic to confirm walk-ins are being accepted.

Residents are asked to bring identification showing they are over age 18 and live in Peel.

Over 60 per cent of Peel residents over age 50 have received their first vaccine dose. As of May 11, a total of 716,566 vaccine doses have been administered in Peel.  The Region has administered a first dose to 689,469 individuals, and 27,097 have been fully vaccinated (two doses).
