William Osler Health System (Osler) is inviting community members to participate in an upcoming Telephone Town Hall. Participants will have the opportunity to learn
about Osler’s ongoing COVID-19 response, the expansion of Osler’s Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness (Peel Memorial) and cancer care in Brampton, among other hospital updates.
The Telephone Town Hall will be held Tuesday, October 5 from 7 to 8 p.m. and will also give participants an opportunity to ask questions of Osler’s senior leaders and provide feedback.
Hosted by Dr. Naveed Mohammad, Osler’s President and CEO, this live event will be moderated by Hema Ramlochan-Tuitt, a member of Osler’s Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton, will also join as a special guest to engage with residents and answer their questions.
“Telephone Town Halls are a great way to engage in vital two-way communication with our community,” said Dr. Naveed Mohammad. “During this session we will share important updates as we continue with our important COVID-19 recovery work, and look forward to the next steps of expansion of our Peel Memorial site, as well as for cancer care in Brampton.”
