Razor and screw found in Halloween candy 


Parents are being urged to check their children’s Halloween candy after reports of dangerous foreign materials in chocolate bars.

On Saturday November 6, Halton police received a report that a small razor and screw were found concealed inside two chocolate bars collected on Halloween night by a 10-year-old child in Milton.

The “Aero” and “Snickers” mini bars were collected on October 31 in the residential area of Derry Road and Savoline Boulevard in Milton. 

Police are investigating the discovery and strongly encourage all parents to thoroughly check their children’s candy regardless of where it was collected.
