Shraddha Kapoor essays a small town girl in horror-comedy film ‘Stree’

Amar Kaushik’s directorial ‘Stree’ in which Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor plays in prominent roles.

Shraddha, who had announced her collaboration with Rajkummar in this first of its kind horror-comedy, took to her social media handle to share a picture of the film’s clapper that revealed its title.

She posted the image with the caption, “Andddd we have a title! Shoot starts on our hilariously scary #[email protected] @maddockfilms ‪Directed by ‬Amar Kaushik ‪Produced by #DineshVijan, Raj and DK. ‪Written by Raj and DK.”

Soureces revealed that, Shraddha will play the role of a small town girl with a mystery surrounding her character.

The makers have claimed that this is an unique role and is one which the actress has not attempted before.

The film ‘Stree’ written by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, and produced by Dinesh Vijan.

The film is scheduled to hit the screen on December, 2018.–CINEWS
