As children are heading back to in-person learning on Monday, Peel Region will be running a Superhero themed child-focused COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Save Max Centre Sports Centre in Brampton this Sunday, January 16th from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
At this clinic, the Region will administer 1200 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine to children 5-11 years old. Appointments will need to be booked for children.
Parents, guardians, and caregivers who may still need their booster dose can also get one. No appointments necessary.
It is more imperative than ever to vaccinate our children especially as they head back to school next week given the highly transmissible Omicron variant and its impact on our community, officials said in a statement. This initiative is part of Peel’s big push to get children and their families vaccinated with one simple goal – keep our children in school.
