New Delhi, March 29 (IANS) A man was lynched by a small mob here on Wednesday on suspicion of his involvement in a murder, police said.

Six people, including two women, have been arrested over the crime.

According to police, Narendra, 29, was attacked by 18 people — mostly his neighbours — with hockey sticks and knives, alleging he murdered a man named Chanchal last year.

Narendra later succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.
