Laxmi is said to have dated cricketer MS Dhoni during IPL

Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi, despite his age, is still known as a terrific dancer and co-star Raai Laxmi of his film “Khaidi No 150” says her dream was one day to dance with the mega star matching his steps.

When asked about her dancing experience with Chiranjeevi in a Twitter chat, she said she never thought she’d get the opportunity to dance with him.

“A dream has come true. I never thought I will get to dance with a legend but dreams do come true. You guys should see to believe it,” Laxmi wrote.

In the film, Laxmi will be seen dancing with Chiranjeevi for a special song.

Directed by V.V. Vinayak, the film is the remake of last year’s Tamil blockbuster “Thani Oruvan”.

Also starring Kajal Aggarwal and Tarun Arora, the film has been produced by Ram Charan.

Chennai-based Laxmi was allegedly dating Indian cricketer MS Dhoni. She said she was surprised to see stories about her relationship with cricketer surfacing ahead of the release of his biopic.

“It’s so strange that people are unnecessarily focusing on my past. While I and Dhoni have moved on, it looks like some people are still stuck with it. It’s been eight years that chapter got over for me,” says Raai who was allegedly dating Dhoni in 2008 during IPL.

Laxmi is also a model. She predominantly appears in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films. She is making her debut in Bollywood with the film Julie 2 (2017).

Raai has completed over a decade in the film industry, acting over 50 films in multiple languages.

Based on an online poll conducted by The Times of India, Raai Laxmi won the “Best Actor Award in a Negative Role – Female” for Mankatha. In 2012, Raai Laxmi won the Stylish Star of South Indian Cinema – Female at SIIMA, 2012.

Raai Lakshmi made her debut at the age of 15 in the Tamil film Karka Kasadara in 2005. – CINEWS
