Three run over by train in Bengal

Kolkata, July 2 (IANS) Three persons were killed after they were run over by a train in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district on Sunday, railway police sources said.

The victims, who were returning after buying fish from the market close to the railway track at Chamapahati station, were mowed down by the Sealdah bound Canning Local.

Two of the victims died on the spot, while the third perished on the way to hospital.
