New Delhi, Sep 6 (IANS) Trinity Institute of Professional Studies scored a comprehensive 6-0 victory over Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced studies on the second day of the Delhi Leg of the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports (RFYS) football tournament here on Wednesday.
In the college boys’ category, Trinity Institute were on a roll as they took the lead in the second minute through Mayank Chandrashekar’s goal.
Pratik Rana’s two goals in the eighth minute and 24th minute made it 3-0 before half time. The Rukmini Boys just disintegrated in the second half, conceding three more goals. Ashish Thariyal (46th), Bhav Jolly (50th) and Manas Bhadra (59th min) were the other scorers.
In other matches, College of Vocational Studies beat Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology 5-4 in the penalty shootout after the teams remained goalless in regulation time.
Shri Aurobindo College (Morning) thumped Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology 5-0.
