TV actor Mohit Raina portrays Sikh regiment Havildar Ishar Singh in ’21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897′

TV actor Mohit Raina is coming with a new show ’21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897′.

He is all geared up for his next show after impressing with his TV Show ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’.

’21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897′ is a fiction show inspired by the real-life story of 21 brave soldiers of the 36th Sikh regiment of the British Indian Army, who defended an army outpost at Saragarhi in the North-West Frontier Province against an onslaught by over 10,000 Pashtun and Orakzai tribals in September 1897.

Mohit will portray the role of Havildar Ishar Singh.

The first look of Mohit from the show is out and we have to admit that it is very impressive.

With a turban and the army uniform, Mohit steps into the shoes of the late and great Havildar Ishar Singh with grace and class.

Talking about his look for the show, the actor said, “To look the part was the most challenging task, but the research or creative team has done such a wonderful job. Minuscule details were taken care of, hoping the audience like the first look and accept the part.”

The show will air on Discovery Jeet.–CINEWS
