Developed in collaboration with local youth groups, the Youth Pad at Century Gardens will be Osler’s primary vaccination site for Peel residents 12-15 years of age. The innovative space will provide youth with a comfortable, safe and interactive space to receive their vaccine. Osler will have paediatricians and family physicians on-site to administer the vaccine.

“Osler is proud to continue to support the COVID-19 vaccine rollout efforts in Peel Region and to expand eligibility to our community’s youth,” said Kiki Ferrari, Chief Operating Officer, William Osler Health System. “Developing the Youth Pad space is an important step in building vaccine confidence among some of our youngest community members, and providing a space where they feel welcome, comfortable and safe.”

Since Osler opened its COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic in December 2020, it has administered more than 158,000 COVID-19 vaccinations.
