Varun Dhawan becomes the face of EatFit with investment in Curefoods

Curefoods has in the last few years become the fastest growing cloud kitchen in India. It houses brands like EatFit, CakeZone, Great Indian Khichdi and Frozen Bottle under its banner.

As per reports, Curefoods has received funding from Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and reportedly they have also prepared a contract for long term association with him by appointing him as the brand ambassador for EatFit. For the unversed, EatFit is the biggest brand of Curefoods.

Dhawan’s investment in Curefoods comes at the same time as the launch of Curefoods “multi brand Direct to Consumer (D2C) order platform –

The aim of the platform is to provide consumers direct access to all the popular brands of Curefoods.

As per the company the aim is also to promote healthy food subscription options to its consumers while inculcating sustainable ordering practices.

To drive home this message and to bring more traction to their ordering website, Curefoods will be putting to use their association with Varun Dhawan who is famous for his energetic performances in Bollywood. Going beyond his acting talents, Varun is also someone who is famous for his commitment to fitness and leads a fit and active lifestyle, which makes him a perfect choice as face of EatFit.

In future, audience will see Varun Dhawan in the marketing promotions and endorsements of Curefoods brands, in particular, EatFit.

Speaking about their association with Varun Dhawan, the founder of Curefoods, Ankit Nagori said, “Varun is passionate about food while also being a strong believer in eating healthy and being fit. He exudes positive energy and immense warmth which make him such a huge hit with his fanbase. Our intention behind having him as the face of EatFit is to tie in these aspects of his personality with our own brand persona.”

Speaking about his investment and association with Curefoods, Varun Dhawan said, “The intersection of food and lifestyle has always been an area that excites me. The latest acquisition by Curefoods was the brand Frozen Bottle and they have also bagged South India’s franchise rights for ‘Sbarro’. Curefoods is scaling up its multi-brand, multi-kitchen model to serve a diverse customer base all over India.

In January 2022, they raised funding amounting to $62 million from a host of investors including, Chiratae Ventures, Iron Pillar, Accel Partners, Binny Bansal and Sixteenth Street Capital.
