Ace Para recurve archer Vivek Chikara dominated the competition as he added two gold medals to his tally at the 4th Para Senior Archery National Championships in Jind, Haryana.
The ace archer had achieved the same feat back in 2019 when he won both gold medals in Olympic Round and Scoring Round.
The ace archer was by far ahead of the rest of the archers in the tournament conducted in Haryana between March 29-31.
Chikara, from Uttar Pradesh, outscored the Tokyo Paralympic Games silver medallist Harvinder Singh in the final.
Commenting on the same an elated Vivek Chikara said, “I am very happy with my performance in both the categories. This will give me a good boost for my upcoming tournaments. I had trained really hard for this and I am very satisfied with the result. Now my focus is on the upcoming tournaments where I want to perform well and make India proud.
“I would also like to thank my coach Satyadev Prasad who helped me train for this event,” he said.
