Shanghai, June 26 (IANS) Chinese handset maker Vivo on Wednesday unveiled its proprietary “Super FlashCharge” 120W — a first in the industry to deliver 120W ultra-high power charging — at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Shanghai, China.
According to the data from a lab test, Vivo “Super FlashCharge” 120W takes only five minutes to charge a 4,000mAh battery from 0 to 50 per cent and can fully charge the smartphone in just 13 minutes, the company said in a statement.
The handset maker also displayed its first commercial 5G smartphone that will be officially available starting third quarter (Q3) 2019.
The 120W charge features a new charge pump technology with a customisable Type-C data cable and travel charger.
