New Delhi, July 8 (IANS) It was a warm Friday morning with a partly cloudy sky here with the minimum temperature recorded at 29.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average, the Met office said.
“The sky will be mainly cloudy through out the day. Vey light rain or thundershower is likely occur in some areas toward evening/night,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
The humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 72 per cent, though the weather office said it would drop as the day passes.
Thursday’s maximum temperature settled at 36.9 degrees Celsius, season’s average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average.
