UCC neither necessary, nor desirable: Deoband tells law commission

  Prominent Islamic seminary Darul Uloom of Deoband has sent a letter to the law commission chairman saying that the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is neither necessary nor desirable in the country and added that it will cause social disorder.
